L'Incontrolat

L'ETNO SERIES (APRIL-MARCH)

L’Incontrolat is a series that explores the relationship between documentary film and ethnography. The series aims to promote the capacity of documentary film as a tool for collective reflection on contemporary societies and cultures. It does so through documentaries that straddle the line between works directed by anthropologists and audiovisual pieces with a marked ethnographic inspiration.
The series takes a contemporary ethnographic approach that is not focused exclusively on indigenous peoples or rural communities, but rather explores the cultural practices and social conflicts of our societies.

The documentaries are generally recent productions that have not been released in our territory, nor are they easily accessible on digital platforms. All of them are accompanied by debates and discussions to think about the world from an ethnographic perspective.
