MUSEO DE CERÁMICA DE MANISES

It is installed in a palace-house from the late s. XVIII. It houses a collection of ceramics produced in Manises from the fourteenth century until today. A special section within the collections is formed by the winning works in the National Ceramics Competition (1972-1987) and the International Ceramic Biennial (1993- to the present). In addition, it houses numerous donations from individuals and potters, among which the twenty-one pieces by Alfons Blat and the eighteen works by Arcadi Blasco stand out, constituting one of the most complete sets of ceramic creation in Spain. Currently, manufacturers that have closed their factories are donating tools and pieces to the museum.
