The museum is located in the old slaughterhouse of the town, in the middle of the orchard, which gives it a special attraction. Its permanent exhibition deals with various aspects of the traditional culture of the town and is divided into two parts: the first presents objects related to domestic life, where the reproduction of a Valencian kitchen with a ceramic panel from Manises stands out. The second refers to agriculture, Almàssera's main economic activity lasting centuries and still very much alive, with a special section dedicated to the cultivation of tigernut, its most significant product.
