The museum collects the historical-archaeological past of the town, from prehistory to the present, with special emphasis on its medieval period. It was at this time when the ceramics produced in the potteries of Paterna acquired its maximum splendor, spreading, together with that of other Valencian producing centers, beyond the European continent. All the pieces that are exhibited have been recovered from the archaeological interventions that have been carried out in our municipal area since the eighties of the last century.
