In the 20's of the last century the tile factory El Pilar, better known as "el rajolar de Bauset", was put into operation. It was active intermittently for a long period, managed by the Bauset-Olcina family. In 1965 it was rented and became known as Cerámica Valenciana, until the 90's, when it was acquired by the city council to turn it into a cultural space, inaugurated in 2000 as the Museum of "la Rajoleria". The aim of the museum is to recover the collective memory of the residents of Paiporta, as well as the brickmaker's trade.
