Music bands are one of the most interesting and differentiating sociological phenomena of the Region of Valencia. Existing studies have tried to explain the reasons why music bands have become so deeply rooted among the Valencian people. Interaction with festivities is just one of many factors that help us to understand the wide-reaching, prolific expansion of the fabric of musical associations in our territory. But this research deals with the other, less explicit aspects that have contributed to this.
