Valencian men and women have born witness to major migration processes: on the one hand from the countryside to the city, but on the other, major international migrations towards America and Europe. Some were the protagonists, whereas other accompanied them through their absence. Understanding the migration process is what was behind this piece of work, centring on Valencian men and women who left, particularly from villages in the Las Marinas region, and who mostly settled in Mendoza, San Juan and Santiago de Chile.
