On 18 May we celebrate International Museum Day with you, but this year with the satisfaction of having won the EMYA award.
We have more reason than ever to celebrate because L'ETNO has won the EMYA award for the European Museum of the Year 2023. This award, given by the European Museum Forum, is the most prestigious award in the field of museums in Europe.
And we want to celebrate this triumph with you because we believe that it is not only ours, but also that of all the people who, like you, have supported us over the years. So, we are going to display the prize, a bronze statuette by Henry Moore, in the hall of the museum so that you can take a photo of it and upload it to your Twitter or to our Twitter (@letnomuseu). Of course, tag us, otherwise we won't know about it!
In addition, we have organised guided tours of the permanent exhibition for that day and also for Sundays 14 and 21 May. The timetable can be found in the column on the right. During the visit we will talk about sustainability and wellbeing, which is not only the theme of International Museum Day 2023, but also one of the reasons why we have been awarded the EMYA prize.
We look forward to seeing you!
