Jean Dieuzaide was already a recognized photographer when in 1951 he arrived to the Valencian Country. Throughout the picture he took here it is possible to observe the survival of a way of life, some customs, some traditions, a way of conceiving the world, which had little to see with the Western Europe of the time.
Through the images we will go through the ways of life of the Valencian society between 1951 and 1971 to discover how it was, what it is dedicated to and how it lives. There, we will be able to reflect and understand our recent past, to better understand the present and contribute to the construction of our future.
