MITA is a museum dedicated to the preservation, conservation, research and communication of puppet art. Inaugurated in December 1997, it is the only international puppet museum that exists in Spain and the first center dedicated to the art of puppetry to open its doors on the Iberian Peninsula. It is located inside the Palacio de los Milà i Aragó, a spectacular 15th century architectural complex, with more than 1,100 m², where it houses a collection of puppets and marionettes that come from all continents and famous people such as Babalà or the Electroduendes.
